Keysight D9040PCIP PCI Express Protocol Decode and Trigger Software
The Keysight D9040PCIP is a PCI Express protocol trigger and decode software licence for Keysight Infiniium oscilloscopes. It covers PCIe Gen 1 at 2.5 GT/s through Gen 4 at 16 GT/s.
Reading PCIe off a raw waveform by hand is not practical the encoding makes it slow and error-prone. This software decodes the captured signal into packet-level listings that stay time-correlated to the waveform, so a marginal eye and the transaction it corrupted can be looked at together rather than inferred from each other.
